My Role as Producer... Producers have overall control of every aspect of a film's production, bringing together the production team. I need to have an extensive knowledge of storytelling and a thorough understanding of all the creative processes of film-making, including screenwriting, directing, editing, and music Producers must be good business people, strategists, motivators, negotiators and creative visionaries I'll work closely with the director and other production staff, on location, to ensure a creative and stable working environment for everyone involved in the project. Organise shooting schedules Hold regular meetings with the director to discuss characters and scenes Troubleshoot problems that arise during production During this production I am aiming to work alongside all production roles to help make this horror film the best it can be - without a set budget.
